CBS' 2019-20 Schedule: 'Young Sheldon' Moves Into 'Big Bang Theory' Slot, Leading Into New Comedy 'The Unicorn'

CBS is the fourth broadcast network this week to announce its schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season. The announcement today presents how entertainment president Kelly Kahl plans on coming back from a tumultuous year for the network.

Notes for this upcoming schedule:
  • Absent from this announcement are new seasons of returning series Criminal Minds, MacGyver, Man With a Plan and The Amazing Race.
  • Also absent are the new series Broke, FBI: Most Wanted and Tommy.
  • Moreover, the network has confirmed that the sixth season of Madam Secretary will be its last. The drama will conclude this fall with a 10-episode season. It joins Criminal Minds in having a planned final season for the upcoming schedule.
