Paramount+ Orders 8 Episodes of 'Dungeons & Dragons' Series Adaptation Created by Rawson Marshall Thurber

Paramount+ has today given a series order to the original drama series Dungeons & Dragons - a live-action adaptation of the popular fantasy role-playing game franchise. The first season will produce 8 episodes.

A precise logline for the upcoming series was not immediately released.

Rawson Marshall Thurber developed the series and will likely direct the first episode. He will executive produce with Gabriel Marano. eOne and Paramount Pictures will produce.

The series is expected to be eOne's largest-scope TV project ever and may even launch a universe featuring multiple spinoffs.
