Prime Video has today renewed its original drama series Reacher for a sixth season. The renewal comes nearly two weeks after the fourth season finale was released. The drama was renewed for its fifth season earlier this year and is currently in production.
The drama's fourth season saw Alan Ritchson return as Jack Reacher alongside cast members Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.
The fifth season will see Jay Baruchel, Kevin Durand, Amanda Ip and Ciara Bravo join the cast.
Nick Santora developed the drama based on the novels by Lee Child. The showrunner and author executive produce with Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, Lisa Kussner, Sam Hill, Amy Pocha, and Seth Cohen. Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios and Blackjack Films produce.
"Reacher hits hard," said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. "What Lee Child has built and Nick Santora and his creative teams have brought to life is, simply, incredible. Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher - he's delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world. Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn't be more excited to continue this journey. Reacher is a truly iconic series, and we're thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for Season Six."
