AppleTV+ Cancels 'Shantaram' After One Season

After releasing its season finale earlier today, AppleTV+ has today announced the cancellation of its original drama series Shantaram based on the novel by Gregory David Roberts after one season.

Charlie Hunnam to Star in Apple's Upcoming Drama 'Shantaram'

Former Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam will play the lead role in the upcoming original drama series Shantaram, which has officially received a series order at AppleTV+ today with his casting. Production is set to begin later this year for a 2020 debut.
