In the newest episode of CBS' The Good Wife, Alicia and Caitlin square off against old foe Nancy Crozier while power grabs are being made at the firm. Meanwhile, Peter discovers the price of taking the moral high road.
This was an overall solid episode of this series. However, it felt that too much of it were nods to future plot lines for the remainder of the season.
It was great to see Mamie Gummer's Nancy Crozier yet again sparring off in court. The case was one of the more intriguing ones of the speech. Caitlin's promotion didn't really feel realistic. She just did her first cross-examination and is now a full litigator. I understand that it was done to move the story forward in an entertaining fashion. We'll see where it goes from here.
Eli and Peter's story of the governorship and the keynote speech feel a little wishy-washy. They are always bringing it up but it hasn't really gone anywhere. Shouldn't those decisions be made soon-ish for a better sense of realism?
The introduction of Will's sisters was a great concept. However, they did come across as a little too caricature-ish. However, they did make me want to see more from them so hopefully they will pop up again in the future.
