NBC Fall Premiere Dates - Early Launches for 'Go On' & 'Animal Practice,' 'Grimm'; Late Starts for 'Whitney' & 'Community'

        Today, NBC has the first network to announce the premiere dates for their fall season. The network is very ambitious and trying to capitalize on their Olympic coverage by offering sneak peeks of Go On and Animal Practice. Season two of Grimm premieres in August with a handful of fresh episodes throughout the month. Law & Order: SVU will have a two hour premiere at the end of September. Unfortunately, fans of 30 Rock, Chicago Fire, Whitney and Community will have to wait until October for their premieres.

        Animal Practice (following Olympics closing ceremonies)

MONDAY, AUGUST 13
        8 PM - Stars Earn Stripes
        10 PM - Grimm (Season 2 premiere, originals also air the following three Mondays)

        7:30 PM - NFL Kickoff Special
        8:30 PM - Sunday Night Football

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9
        8:15 PM - Sunday Night Football (regularly time period debut)

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
        8 PM - The Voice (two hours)

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
        9 PM - Go On (regular time period debut)
        9:30 PM - The New Normal
        10 PM - Parenthood

        10 PM - Guys with Kids (following America's Got Talent finale)
