TV News - 'The Good Wife,' 'Weeds,' 'Episodes,' 'Criminal Minds' & 'Bunheads'

        Monday, June 25 - Today's items include a couple of major casting scoops for The Good Wife; the season premieres of two Showtime comedies are now available online; yet another Gilmore Girls alum signs on to Bunheads; a Criminal Minds star is poised to return for two more years; and many more!

  • Some big casting news was released for the upcoming fourth season of CBS' The Good Wife. Marc Warren (Band of Brothers) has picked to play Kalinda's dangerous ex-husband whom she ran away from before Lockhart-Gardner.
  • In more Good Wife casting news, ER alum Maura Tierney is set to play the recurring role of Maddie, a self-made billionaire who started her own Internet company and is heavily involve in Chicago Democratic politics. Tierney will appear in at least 10 episodes as Eli will eagerly pursue her character's money and endorsement for Peter's campaign.
  • Viewers can now sample the season premieres of the Showtime comedy series, Weeds and Episodes, one week before their debut on Sunday, July 1. Users who watch the season two premiere of Episodes on the series' Facebook page or across participating distributors' Facebook brand pages, will unlock the first episode of the eighth and final season of Weeds.
  • Criminal Minds star Matthew Gray Gubler has signed a new deal to stay on the CBS crime procedural for the next two years.
  • Sean Gunn is the latest Gilmore Girls alum to land a guest spot on ABC Family's new series, Bunheads. Gunn will appear in the August 13 episode as Bash, short for Sebastian, an award-winning barista.
