TV News - 'NCIS,' 'The Good Wife' & '90210'

        Wednesday, July 11 - Today's items include The Good Wife grabbing yet another well-creditialed guest star for its new season; NCIS stars finally sign new deals to return to the series; 90210 casts some new recurring roles; and many more!


  • NCIS stars Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette and Sean Murray have all signed new two-year deals to continue to appear on the hit CBS procedural. With the resigning of these three, the entire cast is set to return to the drama next season.
  • Director-producer Michael Dinner has inked a new two-year deal with Sony Pictures Television. Dinner is currently an executive producer on FX's Justified and FOX's upcoming The Mob Doctor.
  • Studio 60 and Bent alum Amanda Peet has been tapped for a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of CBS' The Good Wife. Peet will play a Lockhart/Gardner client, a military lawyer who sues a contract worker for an attempted sexual assault. After trying to pursue the case pro se, she hires Alicia as her lawyer and the two become confidants and friends.
  • Trai Byers (All My Children) and Wes Brown (Hart of Dixie, True Blood) have been cast in recurring roles for the upcoming season of 90210. Byers will play Alec, an Ivy League hotshot, tech-savvy guy who also happens to be Max's business partner. Brown will play Taylor, a hot club promoter who's irresistible to the ladies and has an eye for new music talent.
