TV NEWS - 'Mad Men,' 'Army Wives,' 'Touch,' 'New Girl,' 'Once Upon A Time,' 'Ben and Kate,' 'Doctor Who,' 'American Horror Story,' 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'The Neighbors' & 'Raising Hope'

        Wednesday, January 23 - AMC announced that the upcoming sixth season of Mad Men will debut on Sunday, April 7 with a 2-hour premiere at 9/8c. The following week it will move to its regular time slot at 10/9c.


The transitional seventh season of Lifetime's Army Wives will debut on Sunday, March 10 at 9/8c. leading into the already announced second season premiere of The Client List.

Maria Bello is set to exit from the FOX series, Touch. Bello joined the drama in the first season finale and was promoted to a series regular for the upcoming second season. Production closed on the second season last week. So, it remains unclear when Bello's exit will occur.

Steve Howey (Shameless) will guest star on an upcoming episode of FOX's New Girl. He will play Jax McTavish, an intense professional football player who Winston interviews. He is later invited to Schmidt and Nick's "Tinfinity" party (a bash celebrating their 10 years of being roommates) and runs into Jess - and catches her eye.

1600 Penn series regular Benjamin Stockham will appear on the 17th episode of ABC's Once Upon a Time. He will play Owen, a precocious, strong-willed kid who isn't afraid to speak his mind but his lively personality is actually a facade as he is secretly dealing with the tragic death of his mother.

FOX has decided to pull the ratings-challenged freshman comedy, Ben and Kate, from its Tuesday schedule effective immediately. Starting next Tuesday, original episodes of Raising Hope will air from 8-9 PM through February). Additionally, Raising Hope will have a one-hour season finale on Thursday, March 28 following American Idol. On Tuesday, March 12, the new season of Hell's Kitchen will premiere in the time slot. FOX says that the remaining episodes of Ben and Kate could air at a later date.

The seventh season of BBC America's Doctor Who will continue on Saturday, March 30.

Terry Crews (The Newsroom, Arrested Development) will co-star opposite Andy Samberg in FOX's Untitled Mike Schur/Dan Goor Comedy pilot. He will play Terry Jeffords, the Sergeant who runs the detective squad.

Season one standout Taissa Farmiga is in negotiations to return to FX's American Horror Story as one of its co-leading ladies for its third season.

Chris Caldovino will be returning to HBO's Boardwalk Empire for its upcoming fourth season on a recurring basis. Throughout the third season, Caldovino starred as Tonino Sandrelli.

Star Trek vet George Takei will guest on the season finale of ABC's The Neighbors. Takei will play the father of Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) who travels to Earth with a big announcement.

Juliette Goglia is the latest addition to be cast on NBC's upcoming Untitled Michael J. Fox Comedy. She will play Eve, Mike's middle child, who is whip-smart but not book-smart and likes to frequently game the system.

FOX's Raising Hope is hosting a My Name is Earl reunion in the February 26 episode. Earl regulars Jason Lee, Jaime Pressly, Ethan Suplee, Eddie Steeples, Nadine Velazquez and Abdoulaye N'Gom will all appear in the episode that focuses on the Chance family trying to throw a third birthday party for Hope.
