TV News - 'Banshee,' 'Delirium,' 'Rake,' 'Arrow,' 'The List,' 'The Killing,' 'Castle,' 'Hatfields & McCoys,' 'Dads,' 'Mom,' 'Venice' & 'Bloodline'

        Tuesday, February 12 - Cinemax's Banshee - which was renewed for a second season earlier this month - has promoted current recurring player Anthony Ruivivar to a series regular. He plays Alex Longshadow, the son of Kinaho Tribe chief Benjamin Longshadow (Russell Means).

Billy Campbell (The Killing) will co-star in the FOX drama pilot Delirium from Karyn Usher and starring Emma Roberts. He will play wealthy political leader Thomas Fineman, the leader of a lobbying organization called Deliria Free America who supports the use of the brain modification that prevents citizens from falling in love and leads to a peaceful, ordered society.

Australian actress Bojana Novakovic (Edge of Darkness) will co-star on the Greg Kinnear-starring FOX drama pilot Rake. She will play Mikki, a smart and spunky high-priced prostitute who's had a five-year "relationship" with Keegan (Kinnear).

After being renewed for a second season yesterday, The CW's Arrow, today, decided to promote recurring star Emily Bett Rickards to a full-fledged series regular. She plays the fan favorite Felicity Smoake on the drama. The promotion will become effective at the start of the second season.

Richard T. Jones (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Charity Wakefield (Mockingbird Lane) are the first actors cast on the FOX drama pilot The List. Jones will play Rayburn, the FBI agent who is the partner to Agent Natalie Voss and her surrogate big brother. Wakefield will play Delilah, a deadly international operator who prides herself on never leaving a "client" unsatisfied.

Actress-writer-director Amy Seimetz (Revenge for Jolly) has joined the third season of AMC's The Killing as a series regular. She will play Danielle Lutz, a hard-living, financially strapped single mother whose 14-year-old daughter goes missing.

AMC's The Killing has also cast Peter Sarsgaard (An Education, Kinsey) in a recurring role. He will play Tom Seward, a death-row inmate whose time is almost up.

Mad Men vet Cara Buono has been tapped for a guest stint on an upcoming episode of ABC's Castle. She will play a beautiful bar owner who has found herself in too deep with the Staten Island Mafia and who shares a mysterious past with Detective Ryan (Seamus Dever).

Oscar nominated actress Virginia Madsen (Sideways) has been cast on NBC's Hatfields & McCoys drama pilot. She will play Eloise McCoy, family matriarch of the blue-collar McCoy family.

Tommy Dewey (The Mindy Project) has landed a staring role in FOX's Dads, which has already been given a six-episode order. He will play Warner, a successful video game entrepreneur whose got a life that's radically different from best friend Eli's perpetual bachelor lifestyle.

Sadie Calvano (Kickin' It, J. Edgar) has joined the cast of the CBS comedy pilot Mom from producer Chuck Lorre. She will play Violet, Christy's (Anna Faris) teenage daughter.

Jennifer Beals (The L Word, The Chicago Code) has scored a leading role in the ABC drama pilot Venice that focuses on two feuding families in the California town. She will play the elegant Lisa Carver, the matriarch to one of the feuding clans.

The Nine Lives of Chloe King star Skyler Samuels has landed the lead role in NBC's drama pilot Bloodline. She will play Bird Benson, a smart, irreverent and strong young girl who, due to an accident at birth, finds herself caught in the middle of an epic struggle between two warrior families set against the backdrop of modern suburbia.
