        Thursday, February 28 - James Naughton (Chicago, Gossip Girl) has been cast on the CBS drama pilot Hostages from Jeffrey Nachmanoff and starring Toni Collette. He will play the President of the United States, who is being operated on when Ellen's (Collette) family is taken hostage.

Nikolai Nikolaeff (Sea Patrol) has joined NBC's 10-episode summer series Camp starring Rachel Griffiths. He will play the camps maintenance guy who loves food, sex and getting high.

Syfy has renewed the supernatural drama Lost Girl starring Anna Silk for a fourth season comprised of 13 episodes. The new season will debut in early 2014.

Scrubs alum John C. McGinley has landed a role on the TBS comedy pilot Ground Floor from Bill Lawrence and Greg Malins. He will play Mr. Mansfield, the boss of the main company.

Jimmy Smits is set to reprise his recurring role on the upcoming sixth season of FX's Sons of Anarchy. He plays Neron "Nero" Padilla, a former gangbanger whose exit-strategy is trumped by his partnership with Jax (Charlie Hunnam). He appear in 12 of the 13 episodes of season five and has now signed on to appear in all the episodes of season six.

FOX's Bones has cast Joanna Cassidy (Body of Proof, Six Feet Under) as Seeley Booth's (David Boreanaz) mother, Marianne Booth. She will first appear in the eighth season finale airing on April 29.

Veteran TV actress Mary Kay Place (Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman) has been cast on an upcoming episode of NBC's The New Normal as Bryan's (Andrew Rannells) estranged mother. When she decides to come to town, it is up to David (Justin Bartha) to try to get the two to smooth things out and reconcile.

Beth Riesgraf (Leverage, Criminal Minds) has joined the cast of the CBS drama pilot The Surgeon General from Samuel Baum and starring Jason Isaacs. She will play Dr. Page Wyatt, an expert in microorganisms.

Rafi Gavron and Anisha Nagarajan have landed roles on the Bravo drama pilot Rita from Krista Vernoff and starring Anna Gunn. Gavron will play Rita's (Gunn) cool, easy going eldest son while Nagarajan will play an eager new teacher.

The Carol Burnett Show vets Carol Burnett and Tim Conway will appear in an upcoming episode of TV Land's Hot in Cleveland. Burnett will play Penny, a local TV Legend and children's program puppeteer who is also the mother of Victoria (Wendie Malick). Conway returns as Nick, Elka's (Betty White) ex-boyfriend who is now trying to romance Penny.

Allison Janney (The West Wing, CBS' Mom pilot) is headed to Showtime's Masters of Sex for a five episode arc. She will play Margaret Scully, the wife of university provost Barton Scully (Beau Bridges).

The Secret Circle alum Chris Zylka is joining the cast of the NBC drama pilot Bloodline from David Granziano and starring Skyler Samuels and Jonathan Banks. He will play Troy, a guy taken from his parents at a young age and forced to live in the agoge, the modern resurrection of an ancient Spartan military meant to prepare boys for the life of battle by teaching them pain tolerance. Unlike other Spartan men his age, Troy has feelings and wants to get close to Bird (Samuels).

Michael Malarkey (Raw) has been tapped for the male lead on The CW drama pilot The Selection from Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain and starring Yael Grobglas. He will play Royal Prince Maxon, the charming, self-serving and untrustworthy son of the king and queen who are not pleased with his reckless behavior. He's thrilled to have a group of young women competing for his affections and is intrigued by the feisty labor-class girl America (Grobglas).

Additionally, Celia Massingham will co-star on the CW drama pilot The Selection. She will play Celeste, a young woman competing against America to become the wife of Prince Maxon and future queen.

Michael Graziadei (The Young & The Restless) and Lincoln Lewis will co-star on the ABC drama pilot Venice. Graziadei will play Josh Nance, the son of Gordy Nance (Bruce Greenwood) and brother of Sophie (Odette Annable), a rising star in his father's company who is poised to take over the family business. Lewis will play Shealy Carver, the son of Lisa Carver (Jennifer Beals), who is bitterly upset that his brother Chris jeopardized the family by spending six years in prison and is stewing with poorly suppressed anger when Chris is welcomed home with open arms.

Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) and Brendan Hines (Lie To Me) have joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot Murder in Manhattan. Gjokaj will play Jack, Lex's (Bridget Regan) best childhood friend, now an NYPD detective, who has feelings for Lex and helps her and her mother in their investigations. Hines will play Lex's brother, an Assistant District Attorney.

The CW has announced that the current fifth season of 90210 will be its final season. The rebooted series will end its run on Monday, May 13.

Eliza Taylor (Neighbours) has landed the lead role on The CW drama pilot The Hundred from Jason Rothenberg. She will play Clarke, a passionate and rebellious "delinquent" sent down to the post-apocalyptic world. As the daughter of the surviving colony's chief medical officer, she also holds some important secrets.

Additionally, Marie Avgeropoulos (Cult) will co-star on The CW drama pilot The Hundred. She will play Octavia, an illegally second-born child who grew up hidden in captivity but is an independent spirit who follows her own path.

The Big C star John Benjamin Hickey will play a leading role on The CW drama pilot Blink from Vera Herbert. He will play Greg, the father - who narrates the series - who is in a coma-like state following a car accident where he cannot speak or move but can see and hear all.

Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill), Rebecca De Mornay and Nick Westrate have been cast on the NBC drama pilot Hatfields & McCoys from John Glenn. Bush will play Emma McCoy, the shining star of the family and the oldest McCoy sibling who is a doctor. De Mornay will play Mary Hatfield, the Mayor of Pittsburgh and the matriarch of the powerful Hatfield family who basically runs the city through their development company and political connections. Westrate will play Randall Hatfield, Mary's smug son.

Marta Milans has joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot Killer Women starring Tricia Helfer. She will play Nessa, Molly's (Helfer) sister-in-law and close friend.

Will Sasso is set as the co-lead opposite Annie Mumolo on the ABC comedy pilot Middle Age Rage. He will play Carol's (Mumolo) husband.

Suburgatory star Parker Young has landed a series regular role on the FOX comedy pilot Enlisted from Kevin Biegel. He will play Private Randy Waits, the endearing kid brother of Derrick and Pete (Geoff Stults) who's a gung ho soldier with a heart of gold but unfortunately has a habit of destroying really expensive military equipment. His casting on the potential series is in first position over the ABC comedy.
