TV NEWS - 'Parks and Recreation,' 'Untitled Sean Hayes Pilot,' 'Masters of Sex' & 'NCIS: LA Spinoff'

        Monday, February 4 - J.K. Simmons (The Family Tools) will guest on an upcoming episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation as the slightly gruff new major of Ben's (Adam Scott) hometown of Partridge, Minnesota. Ben and Leslie make a road trip to the town as the mayor is throwing a ceremony forgiving Ben for what Ice Town did 20 years ago.

Linda Lavin (Alice) has joined NBC's Untitled Sean Hayes Comedy Pilot as a series regular. She will play Hayes' mom on the multi-camera project that features a man dealing with parenting his teenage daughter while dealing with a new temperamental boss.

Ann Dowd (Compliance) is set to recur on Showtime's new drama Masters of Sex. She will play Estabrooks, the mother of William Masters (Michael Sheen).

Edwin Hodge (Red Dawn, Cougar Town) is the first series regular cast on CBS' prospective NCIS: LA spinoff back-door pilot. The series follows a team of agents as they crisscross the country solving crimes. Hodge will play Kai Ashe, the incredibly bright, witty and likable technical assistant, an all-round tech savvy computer guy and expert on everything.
