TV News - 'Reckless,' 'Second Sight,' 'Halt & Catch Fire,' 'The Selection,' 'Girlfriend in a Coma,' 'Intelligence,' 'The 100,' 'Pulling,' 'The Blacklist,' 'Assistance,' 'The Sixth Gun,' 'Backstrom,' 'Gang Related,' 'Holding Patterns' & 'Believe'

        Tuesday, March 12 - Karl Urban (Star Trek) has been cast in the co-leading role on the untitled FOX drama pilot from J.H. Wyman and starring Michael Ealy. He will play John Kennex, a respected police officer - partnered with android Dorian (Ealy) - who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission left him critically injured.

Terra Nova star Stephen Lang has joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot Reckless from Chris Black. He will play Tom, Sarah's (Eloise Mumford) father who runs a top military manufacturing facility and uses his strong political connections to demand action when his beloved daughter disappears. Notoriously impossible to please, Tom has never fully embraced his son-in-law David (Patrick Fugit) as a member of the family.

Christina Cole (Hex) has been added to the cast of the CBS drama pilot Second Sight from Michael and Gerald Cuesta and starring Jason Lee. She will play Gemma, one of the detectives on Tanner's (Lee) team.

Kerry Bishe (Argo) will co-star on the AMC drama pilot Halt & Catch Fire from Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers. She will play Donna, engineer Gordon's (Scoot McNairy) wife and the backbone of their family.

Louise Lombard (CSI, Stargate Universe) has been cast on The CW drama pilot The Selection from Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain. She will play Queen Amberly. Refined, intelligent and beloved by the people, Queen Amberly is a canny political player within the palace, and knows everything there is to know about every single girl in The Selection competition.

Ann Cusack has joined the cast of the NBC comedy pilot Girlfriend in a Coma starring Christina Ricci and Miranda Cosgrove. She will play Karen's (Ricci) mother who, along with her husband (Daniel Stern), has been raising Evie (Cosgrove).

John Billingsley has been added to the cast of the CBS drama pilot Intelligence starring Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger. He will play Dr. William Crispin, a top computer neuroscientist formerly at the U.S. Cyber Command unit.

Christopher Larkin will co-star on The CW drama pilot The 100 starring Eliza Taylor. He will play Monty, a sweet, funny and likable kid who is the furthest thing from a delinquent. He uses his smarts and sense of humor to help Clarke (Taylor) in her quest to survive and joins the gang on their trek to Mount Weather. Additionally, Kelly Hu (Arrow) has joined the cast as Cece, the Chief Communications Officer on the Ark.

Kristen Schaal (The Daily Show, Flight of the Conchords) has landed the third lead role on the ABC comedy pilot Pulling from Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. She will play Louise - the role originally played by Mandy Moore before she exited the project earlier this week.

Emmy winner James Spader (Boston Legal, The Office) is set as the male lead on the NBC drama pilot The Blacklist from Jon Bokenkamp and starring Megan Boone. The project centers on Red (Spader), the world's most wanted criminal who mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with. His only condition is he will only work with a newly minted FBI agent, Elizabeth Keen (Boone), with whom he seemingly has no connection. Red is a former Army intelligence officer who went AWOL and now serves not as a spy but a facilitator - brokering deals for criminals.

Alfred Molina (Monday Mornings, Law & Order: LA) is in talks to star on the NBC comedy pilot Assistance from Leslye Headland and starring Krysten Ritter. The project focuses on Nora (Ritter), an idealistic "working girl" assistant who is pulled between her colleague Seth (Zach Cregger) and her fiance (Peter Cambor) while trying to manager her demanding boss Daniel (Molina). Daniel is a very successful film producer with a large presence and thick intensity.

Michiel Huisman (Treme, Nashville) has scored the male lead on the NBC drama pilot The Sixth Gun from Ryan Condal and Carlton Cuse. He will play Drake Sinclair, a rogue gunslinger and handsome bastard. Coming from a shadowy past of mixed allegiances, the shrewd Drake is searching for the Sixth Gun because he believes that it will lead to a great treasure.

Kristoffer Polaha (Life Unexpected, Ringer) has joined the cast of the CBS drama pilot Backstrom from Hart Hanson. He will play Sgt. Peter Niedermayer, the unit's Forensics Liaison.

Tom Berenger (Hatfields & McCoys) has landed a role on the FOX drama pilot Gang Related from Chris Morgan and starring Ramon Rodriguez. He will play Sam Chapel, a tough, dynamic police chief who oversees the Gang Task Force.

Kate Lang Johnson (Fired Up) has been cast on the NBC comedy pilot Holding Patterns from Justin Spitzer. She will play Sabrina, Griffin's (Humphrey Ker) perfect fiancé and a beautiful doctor.

Arian Moayed (The Following) will co-star on the NBC drama pilot Believe from Alfonso Cuarón and starring Johnny Sequoyah and Jake McLaughlin. He will play Corey, the right hand man to hit woman Moore (Sienna Guillory).

Max Schneider (How To Rock) has been added to the cast of the untitled NBC drama pilot from Rand Ravich starring Lance Gross and Gillian Anderson. He will play Ian, Amber's (Halston Sage) classmate who has a crush on her. Additionally, Stevie Lynn will co-star on the project as Beth Ann, Ian's best friend.
