        Wednesday, March 6 - Hope Davis (In Treatment) will guest on the April 24 episode of NBC's Law & Order: SVU. The episode will explore violent youth and focus on her character, Viola Mesner - the mother to a troubled boy named Henry (Ethan Cutkosky).



Justina Machado (Private Practice) and Joey Haro (Awkward) have landed leading roles on the NBC comedy pilot Welcome To The Family. The project chronicles how cultures collide when white parents (Mike O'Malley, Mary McCormack) and Latino parents (Ricardo Chavira, Machado) are bonded together by their children Molly (Ella Rae Peck) and Junior (Haro) who fall in love followed quickly by an unplanned pregnancy. Machado'a casting on the potential series is in first position over her already-produced USA comedy pilot Paging Dr. Freed.

Natalie Hall (Pretty Little Liars) will co-star on The CW drama pilot Oxygen from Meredith Averill. She will play Taylor, the undisputed queen of her high school who takes an interest in newcomer Emery (Aimee Teegarden) but Emery's friendliness towards the hated Orions may put a damper on their new friendship.

Ben Rappaport (Outsourced) and Bill Engvall (Bill Engvall Show) will star on the TBS comedy pilot Do It Yourself. Rappaport will play leading man Nick Porter, a 20-something laid-off math teacher who finds himself thrust into the blue collar world when he gets a job at the big box home supply store. Engvall will play his co-worker Dale, an executive with 30 years of experience who was once a senior vice president at Circuit City but has been reduced to minimum wage since his company went belly-up.

Scott Bakula (Men of a Certain Age) has been cast on the untitled TNT drama pilot from Scott Prendergast and Amy Berg and starring Geena Davis. He will play Pete, Mack's (Davis) ex-husband and a cop.

Alex Hassell (Anonymous) has landed a lead role on the ABC drama pilot Big Thunder from Jason Fuchs. He will play a powerful but mysterious tycoon who runs the frontier mining town.

Melissa George (Hunted) has been tapped for a role on the ABC drama pilot Gothica starring Janet Montgomery. She will play Fiona Hunter, the series' most formidable force, and everyone from Grace (Montgomery), to Dorian (Chris Egan), to Victor (Tom Ellis) - will find their mettle and savvy tested by this deliciously cunning woman.

Nicholas Gonzalez has joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot The Returned from Aaron Zelman. He will play Connor, one of Sheriff Garland's (Matt Craven) patrolmen and Gail's (Devin Kelly) boyfriend.

Matthew Lillard will co-star on the NBC drama pilot I Am Victor from Mark Goffman and starring John Stamos. He will play Elliott, Victor's (Stamos) best friend who is an off-beat, off-books former cop who helps Victor acquire information and things, legally and otherwise.

Wendy Moniz (Damanges), Elizabeth McLaughlin and Braeden Lamasters have been added to the cast of the ABC drama pilot Betrayal from David Zabel. Moniz will play Elaine, Jack's wife and the daughter of the powerful Terence (James Cromwell). McLaughlin and Lamasters will play Elaine and Jack's 16-year-old twins.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Anthony Head has been tapped to star on the CW drama pilot The Selection from Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain. He will play King Clarkson, the patriarch of the royal family that rules the nation. He is described as a seasoned leader and politico who warns his son, Maxon (Michael Malarkey), that he'll have to give up any idea of romantic love and that his choice should be based on making a powerful political alliance.

Derek Luke (Captain America) will co-star on the CBS drama pilot Second Sight from Michael and Gerald Cuesta and starring Jason Lee. He will play Detective Paul Giroux, the newest addition to the team.

Emmy and Tony Award winner Jeffrey Wright is joining the cast of HBO's Boardwalk Empire as a series regular for the drama's upcoming fourth season. He will play Valentin Narcisse, Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem.

Gary Cole (The Good Wife, Veep) has been cast on the FOX drama pilot The List from Paul Zbyszewski and starring Michael Peña. He will play Chief Inspector Bob McKinnon, Soto's (Peña) boss and a stand-up, loyal guy who goes to bat for Soto when his maverick inspector gets into hot water, yet again.

Kerri Kenney-Silver (Reno 911!) and Kurt Fuller (Psych, Scandal) have joined the cast of the FOX comedy pilot Friends & Family starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel. Kenney-Silver will play Gwen, Stacey's (Bledel) mom. Fuller will play Michael, Gavin's (Ritter) dad. Additionally, Ashlie Atkinson has joined the pilot but no details were released on her character.

Kelly Preston (Medium) will play the leading role on the ABC comedy pilot Keep Kalm and Karey On from Andrea Abbate. She will play Karey, the clean-nosed black sheep in a family of petty thieves, drug addicts and narcissists. When her brother is sent to prison, she decides to raise his kids along with her adopted black son and give them the normal lives they deserve.

Jake Hoffman (Luck) has been tapped to play the male lead on the FOX comedy pilot Two Wrongs opposite Kelli Garner. The comedy centers on Zach (Hoffman) and Jenny (Garner), a couple whose friends and family don't think they are right for each other.

Steve Zissis (Arrested Development) will co-star on the HBO comedy pilot Togetherness from Mark and Jay Duplass. He will play Alex Pappas, a 30-something actor who has been trying to make it in Los Angeles for almost 20 years and he's just been left homeless with only one friend in the world.

Entourage alum Kevin Connolly has been cast on the CBS comedy pilot Friends With Better Lives from Dana Klein. He will play Bobby Lutz, a gynecologist who's best friends with Will (James Van Der Beek).

Lyndon Smith (90210) has joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot Reckless from Chris Black. She will play Allie, Sarah's (Eloise Mumford) sister.

The Talk creator/co-host Sara Gilbert has landed a role on the CBS comedy pilot Bad Teacher from Hilary Winston. She will play Irene, a shy, introverted drama and English teacher who, when activated, can be a bit intense.

Comedy vet Elliot Gould has finally closed a deal to star on the untitled NBC comedy pilot written by and starring John Mulaney. He will play John's (Mulaney) gay neighbor.

Workaholics star Anders Holm is heading to FOX's The Mindy Project for a four-episode arc. He will play Casey, a charismatic, altruistic and popular Lutheran pastor in New York City who is so cool he has a DJ at his church services. When Casey and Mindy (Mindy Kaling) first meet, he manages to both attract her and get under her skin at the same time - soon after, they begin dating. His first episode will air in early April.

Manolo Cardona will appear in multiple episodes of the upcoming fourth season of USA's Covert Affairs. He will play Teo Braga, an enigmatic Colombian rebel leader. Brilliant and brooding, Teo harbors secrets about his past that will affect Annie, Auggie and other members of the CIA profoundly.

Comedians Roy Wood Jr. and Ahmed Ahmed have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming second season of TBS' Sullivan & Son. Both previously recurred throughout the sitcom's first season.
