TV News - 'House of Cards,' 'The Family Guide,' 'Quarry' & 'Revenge'

        Thursday, May 30 - Sam Page (Mad Men, Switched at Birth) and Molly Parker (Deadwood, The Firm) have joined the cast of Netflix's House of Cards for its upcoming second season. Details on who the two will be playing as well as how many episodes they will appear in are being kept very confidential.

1600 Penn vet Jenna Elfman is in early discussions to return to NBC next season as the female lead in new comedy series The Family Guide - replacing Parker Posey, who played the role in the original pilot but dropped out shortly after it was ordered to series. The series centers on a son (Eli Baker) who idolizes his blind father (J.K. Simmons) and enjoys his mom's (Elfman) newfound adolescence after their divorce and, ultimately, grow closer together.

Skipp Sudduth (Third Watch) has joined the cast of the Cinemax drama pilot Quarry starring Logan Marshall-Green. He will play Lloyd, Quarry's (Marshall-Green) father who is coarse and a veteran like Quarry who lives with a woman who completely disagrees with the Vietnam war and isn't supportive of his son.

Ashley Madekwe - who has played assistant Ashley Davenport on ABC's Revenge for its first two seasons - will not return to the drama series for its upcoming third season. Her option for the series was not picked up due to upcoming storyline reasons.
