TV News - 'The Affair,' 'Episodes,' 'Girls' & 'Critics Choice Awards: Most Exciting New Series'

        Monday, June 3 - Dominic West (The Wire, The Hour) has been cast as the male lead on the Showtime drama pilot The Affair from Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi. He will play Noah, a good husband, devoted father of four, and New York City high school teacher whose settled, comfortable world is about to implode when he meets a woman he thinks is his soul mate.

Chris Diamantopoulos (The Office, Arrested Development) has booked a major recurring role on the upcoming third season of Showtime's Episodes. He will play Castor Soto, the new head of the network that airs Pucks, the fictional show within the show.

Michael Zegen (Boardwalk Empire) has joined the cast of the upcoming third season of HBO's Girls. The series is keeping details on his character and the number of episodes he will appear in under wraps.

The 3rd annual Critics' Choice Television Awards has just unveiled its list of the Most Exciting New Series which includes ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., CBS' Under the Dome, FX's The Bridge, NBC's The Michael J. Fox Show and Showtime's Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex.
