Tuesday, July 16 - Showtime's Homeland has added Martin Donovan (Boss) and Shaun Toub (Chuck, Lost) in recurring roles for the upcoming third season. Donovan will play Bennett, a partner at a DC law firm. Toub will play Majid Javadi, a Middle Eastern intelligence officer.

FOX's American Dad is on the move. After airing its first ten seasons on FOX - the tenth premiering on Sunday, September 29 - the animated comedy will be moving to TBS starting in late 2014. The cable channel has already ordered 15 episodes for the series' eleventh season. "American Dad is a great fit for TBS, a favorite of comedy fans who like smart, irreverent humor with ample doses of biting wit and skewering satire," Michael Wright, president of TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies, said in a statement. "We look forward to welcoming [creator] Seth MacFarlane and the rest of his team as they bring this iconic show to TBS."

Jim Beaver (Justified, Dexter) is returning to The CW's Supernatural for its upcoming ninth season. The veteran actor plays Bobby Singer, the Winchester brothers' deceased father figure.

Oscar nominee James Franco will appear in a two-episode arc in the upcoming second season of FOX's The Mindy Project. He will play Dr. Paul Leotard, the charismatic and popular doctor who replaces Mindy (Mindy Kaling) at Shulman & Associates while she is in Haiti on a volunteer mission. A former professional model, Dr. Leotard radically altered his career goals after he accidentally walked off a runway at fashion week and was saved by a pregnant woman. From that day forward, he devoted himself to helping pregnant women and immediately applied to medical school.

Tom Arnold (Sons of Anarchy) will guest star on the upcoming eighth season of USA's Psych. He will play Garth Mathers, the paranormal police consultant for the Anchorage Police Department who comes to Santa Barbara with his trusty spirit sidekick Bernie to participate in the Cutting Edge Consultants panel hosted by the legendary Professor Stein (Bill Marchant), but when murder is afoot, they pitch in to solve the case.

Ellie Kemper (The Office) is joining the cast of CBS' How I Met Your Mother for an episode of its ninth and final season. She will play Cassie, one of the most attractive, available and - as Ted (Josh Radnor) discovers - unfortunate guests at Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin's (Cobie Smulders) wedding.

Toby Jones (The Hunger Games) has joined the cast of FOX's limited event series Wayward Pines starring Matt Dillon, Melissa Leo and Carla Gugino. He will play Dr. Jenkins, a charismatic and mysterious psychiatrist who treats a Secret Service agent (Dillon) who arrives in a small Idaho town looking for two missing agents. Jenkins believes brain damage suffered in a car wreck is the source of the visiting agent's paranoia. Then again, very little in the town of Wayward Pines is as it seems.

ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars spinoff Ravenswood is making a casting change before starting production. Elizabeth Whitson, original cast to play a lead role of Olivia, is departing the series while Merritt Patterson, originally set to play Olivia's former best friend Tess, will take over Whitson's part. Olivia is a former prom queen who is struggling with a recent fall from grace. She used to be carefree and effortlessly happy but recent events have left her questioning what's truly important.
