TV News - 'The Mindy Project,' 'Trophy Wife,' 'Reign,' 'Psych,' 'Orange Is the New Black,' 'The Exes' & 'Teen Wolf'

        Thursday, July 18 - Happy Endings co-star Adam Pally is joining the cast of FOX's The Mindy Project for a multi-episode arc. He will play a new doctor at the OB/GYN practice where Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and company work.



Bailee Madison (Once Upon a Time) has landed a regular role on ABC's upcoming new comedy series Trophy Wife. She will play Hilary, Kate's (Malin Akerman) new stepdaughter. She's a type A personality dying to be popular and hopes that under Kate's new regime she will finally be able to crack the cool crowd. She replaces Gianna LePera who played the role in the original pilot.

Big Love alum Shawn Doyle has booked a recurring role on The CW's upcoming new drama series Reign. He will play Claude, uncle to the teenaged Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane). He shows up at French court shortly after Mary's own arrival to advise his niece on matters both political and personal. Along the way he will rouse trouble between the King and the Queen of France.

Psych's two-hour musical episode finally has an airdate. The special, which features all new original songs by series creator Steve Franks, will premiere on Sunday, December 15. The episode will feature guest appearances by musical vets Anthony Rapp (Rent) and Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show).

Bobby Campo (Being Human) and Heather Hemmens (Hellcats) will appear on the two-hour tenth season premiere of ABC's Grey's Anatomy. Campo will play Brian, a young and dedicated fireman who is introduced at the scene of a major accident. He's engaged to Sasha (Hemmens), a tough cop with a good heart who also is involved in the disaster. Both have the potential to appear in more episodes.

Taryn Manning has upped to a series regular for the upcoming second season of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black. She plays Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett, a meth addict who is the youngest of six children born to drug and alcohol addicted parents in rural Virginia.

TV Land has ordered an additional 10 episodes of its original sitcom The Exes for its current third season. The series stars Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables and Kristen Johnston. The additional episodes will debut later this year.

MTV today announced that the upcoming winter season of Teen Wolf will premiere on Monday, January 6, 2014. The second half of the current third season will consist of 12 episodes. The premiere date was announced to a packed room of fans at Comic-Con International in San Diego.
