TV News - 'Parks and Recreation,' 'Blue Bloods' & 'American Horror Story: Coven'

Saturday, July 27 - Veteran character actor Sam Elliott has been tapped to guest on an upcoming episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation. He will appear as Ron Swanson's (Nick Offerman) aggressively mustached counterpart in neighboring Eagleton. He will appear in the second episode of season six - which will also feature Kristen Bell as Leslie's (Amy Poehler) Eagleton doppelganger.

Ali Wentworth (Head Case) will appear in an early fall episode of CBS' Blue Bloods. She will play Naomi, an attractive woman whose steady string of complaints to the police over her neighbor leaves the police department with very little sympathy to her.

Denis O'Hare, Emmy nominated for the first season of FX's American Horror Story, is returning to the anthology series for its upcoming third cycle titled American Horror Story: Coven. Creator Ryan Murphy broke the news on his Twitter but offered no details on the new character he will be playing.
