TV News - 'NCIS,' 'Luther,' 'Mom,' 'Girls,' 'Penny Dreadful,' 'The Affair,' 'Shameless,' 'House of Lies,' 'Episodes,' 'Open,' 'Bones' & 'Ripper Street'

        Tuesday, July 30 - Margo Harshman (The Big Bang Theory) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming tenth season of CBS' NCIS. She will first appear in the season premiere as McGee's (Sean Murray) new girlfriend, Delilah. She is a smart and eccentric computer specialist in the cyber division at the Department of Defense.

The third season of BBC America's Luther will air four nights straight from Tuesday, September 3 to Friday, September 6 - airing at 10/9c. each night.

Justin Long (New Girl) and Octavia Spencer (The Help) will appear on the first season of CBS' Mom. Long will play a new love interest for leading lady Christy (Anna Faris). Spencer will play a woman who it turns out has bigger problems than Christy which helps give her some perspective.

Natalie Morales - co-star of ABC's upcoming new comedy series Trophy Wife- has booked a guest spot on the third season of HBO's Girls. She will appear as a sweet twenty-something who surrounds herself with artists and has a desire to save the world.

Josh Hartnett and Eva Green have been tapped to star on Showtime's eight-episode drama series Penny Dreadful. The psychosexual horror series features some of literature's most iconic figures as they become embroiled in Victorian London. Hartnett will play Ethan Chandler, a charming American who finds himself trapped in the darkest corners of Victorian London. Green will play Vanessa Ives, a seductive and formidable beauty full of secrets and danger.

Ruth Wilson (Lone Ranger) has been cast on the Showtime drama pilot The Affair opposite Dominic West. She will play Alison, a young married woman working in a pancake house, trying to piece her life back together in the wake of a tragedy.

Showtime will premiere the new seasons of Shameless, House of Lies and Episodes on Sunday, January 12. The fourth season of Shameless will start the night at 9/8c. followed by the third seasons of House of Lies at 10/9c. and Episodes at 10:30/9:30c. Californication, which had been paired with Shameless and House of Lies for the last two years, will be held back until spring 2014 where it will air alongside Nurse Jackie.

Fringe star Anna Torv and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Revenge, Weeds) have joined the cast of the HBO drama pilot Open from Ryan Murphy. Torv will play one of the five central characters, Windsor, a yoga instructor in a longterm relationship with Holly (Leigh), an actress intensely committed to her career, who, upon meeting Grace, feels an instant connection.

Cheers vet John Ratzenberger will appear on an upcoming episode of FOX's Bones. He will play Bill Schumacher, who with his wife Ethel, goes to a couples retreat to work on a few personal problems.

David Costabile (Breaking Bad), Damien Molony (Being Human), Joseph Mawie (Game of Thrones), Leanne Best (Doctors), Paul Kaye (2,000 Acres of Sky) Neve McIntosh (Doctor Who), Gina Bellman (Coupling) and James Wilby (Maurice) have been added to the second season cast of BBC America's Ripper Street.
