TV News - 'Hart of Dixie,' 'The Tomorrow People,' 'Surviving Jack,' 'Transparent,' 'NCIS,' 'The Red Road,' 'Tyrant,' 'The Mindy Project,' 'CSI,' 'Two and a Half Men,' 'Saint George' & 'Sleepy Hollow'

        Wednesday, August 7 - Chuck alum Ryan McPartlin will guest star on an upcoming episode of The CW's Hart of Dixie. He will play Carter Covington, a handsome, chivalrous and extremely charming Southern gentleman who is the South's most eligible bachelor.

Veronica Mars vet Jason Dohring will appear on The CW's new drama series The Tomorrow People. He will play Killian McCrane, a former paranormal operative who once worked with John (Luke Mitchell) at Ultra but then went completely off the grid - that is until he mysteriously resurfaces to exact revenge. He will first appear in the fourth episode.

Rachael Harris (New Girl, Suits) is joining the cast of FOX's midseason comedy series Surviving Jack as the new female lead. She will play Joanne Dunlevy, who was played by Alex Kapp Horner in the original pilot. Joanne is an Alpha-Mom who has decided to go back to law school, somewhat reluctantly leaving the care of her kids to her brash husband (Chris Meloni).

Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) and Gaby Hoffman (Veronica Mars) are set to topline Amazon's new comedy pilot Transparent from writer Jill Soloway (Afternoon Delight). Transparent centers on Mort (Tambor) who gathers his three adult kids - Ali (Hoffman), Sarah and Joshia - for a talk about the future, but everyone is shocked to learn that it's not their financial inheritance at stake, but rather the complex legacy of a secret life as a transgender. Everyone's relationship - to the world, themselves and each other - through the lens of boundaries, intimacy, sex and gender - is about to change.

Roma Maffia (Nip/Tuck, Pretty Little Liars) will guest star on an October episode of CBS' NCIS. She will play Vera Strickland, an experienced and tough Special Agent on the cusp of retirement. She also has a history with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Mike Franks (Muse Watson).

Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan) has joined the cast of Sundance's upcoming drama series The Red Road. He will play Jack Kopus, Phillip's (Jason Momoa) father and a terrifying and unpredictable drug dealer. Phillip return home to run Jack's small-town drug ring.

Jordana Spiro (The Mob Doctor, My Boys) has joined the cast of the FX drama pilot Tyrant. She will play Dana, John Tucker's (Justin Kirk) wife with whom she works at the American Embassy as a cultural attaché.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Glenn Howerton will guest star on the second season of FOX's The Mindy Project. He will play Cliff Gilbert, a handsome mild-mannered attorney who starts wooing Mindy (Mindy Kaling) after they meet in their office building. He will first appear in the fourth episode.

CBS' CSI is staging a Cheers reunion this fall when John Ratzenberger will guest on an episode with series star Ted Danson. Ratzenberger will play a jaded, burned out club owner who's been in the business for over 30 years - until his business, and several people, go up in smoke.

Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia, House) has been tapped for a recurring role on CBS' Two and a Half Men. She will play Jenny, Charlie Harper's (Charlie Sheen) illegitimate daughter who has moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and connect with what's left of her family. She is set to appear in five episodes with the potential to become a new co-lead on the show.

Newcomer Tobit Raphael has landed a recurring role on FX's 10/90 sitcom Saint George. He will play Walden, a bright and socially awkward student in George's (George Lopez) class.

Lyndie Greenwood (Nikita) will recur on FOX's new drama series Sleepy Hollow. She will play Jenny Millis, Abbie's (Nicole Beharie) sister.
