FOX Postpones 'Bones' Move to Fridays & Gives 'Almost Human' Two Night Premiere

FOX has already been actively promoted new drama series Almost Human starring Karl Urban and Michael Urban. But now, the network is scrapping its original November 4 premiere date to better utilize a football doubleheader later in the month.

The delay also pushes back the network's plans to ship veteran drama Bones to Friday.

Almost Human will now launch as a two-night event on Sunday, November 17 and Monday, November 18. The network is banking on the new drama to be a success - and doing its best to make that a reality. The Sunday premiere will be preceded by a NFL double-header and the network will try to keep the momentum going with the second episode of the series debut the next night in its regular Monday time slot.

Bones will continue to air in the Monday 8PM time period for a few more weeks instead of transitioning to Fridays on November 8 as previous planned. The scheduled move will now occur on November 15 and be followed by the one hour premiere of Raising Hope.
