TV News - 'Orphan Black' Set to Return in April; 'Reign' Casts Amy Brenneman as Mary's Mom; Plus 6 More Updates!

BBC America's Orphan Black will return for its 10-episode second season on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

David Alpay (The Vampire Diaries) has been cast on the Lifetime drama pilot The Lottery. He will play Alison's (Marley Shelton) colleague and current lab assistant.

The CW's Reign has cast Amy Brenneman (Private Practice, The Leftovers) to play Marie de Guide, Mary's (Adelaide Kane) mother, on an upcoming episode.

Andrew Rannells (The New Normal, Girls) will appear on the December 16 episode of CBS' How I Met Your Mother. He will play Darren, a guy at Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) wedding who intentionally stirs up trouble amongst the gang.

ABC Family has announced that its two comedy series - Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy - will return with new episodes on Wednesday, January 15 starting at 8/7c.

D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye) has been tapped to direct the NBC drama pilot Tin Man from feature writer Ehren Kruger. The project is billed as a psychological crime thriller that focuses on a fugitive robot accused of murder, who may hold the key to the future of human evolution, and the young female public defender forced to fight for his cause.
