Drake will serve as host and musical guest on the January 18 episode of NBC's Saturday Night Live, as revealed during the Jimmy Fallon-hosted episode last weekend. This will be Drake's second appearance on the show - he served as musical guest in a 2011 episode.
Three time Oscar nominee Nick Nolte has joined the cast of FOX's upcoming limited series Gracepoint as a series regular. He will play Jack Reinhold, a stubborn, unmarried, willful man who has lived in Gracepoint for 20 years. He runs the kayak rental on the beach as well as the local wildlife observation program, where the murdered boy was one of his volunteers.
Luke Grimes has exited the cast of HBO's True Blood ahead of its seventh and final season. The actor opted to leave the drama - before production started on the season - due to creative differences over his character, James. He joined the vampire series at the start of its six season. The role is expected to be recast in the coming weeks.
