FOX Announces Premiere Dates for '24: Live Another Day,' 'Surviving Jack' & 'Gang Related'

During the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, FOX has announced their premiere date plans for upcoming new series Surviving Jack and Gang Related as well as the much-hyped return of 24.





FOX's event series 24: Live Another Day - which picks up on the story of Jack Bauer a couple of years after his last mission and will be centered in London - will debut on Monday, May 5 at 8/7c. with a special two-hour premiere. It will then move back to its familiar time slot of Mondays at 9/8c. the following week on May 12.

The 24 update will feature the returns of Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane who will be joined by new additions Judy Davis, Yvonne Strahovski, Giles Matthey, Michael Wincott and Gbenga Akinnagbe.

Freshman comedy series Surviving Jack, starring Christopher Meloni and Rachael Harris as parents in the 1990s, will debut on Thursday, March 27 at 8:30/7:30c. following the American Idol results show - which finally will be cutting back to a half-hour running time.

Lastly, FOX will also be utilizing American Idol to launch the new drama series Gang Related starring Ramon Rodriguez and Terry O'Quinn. The new series will debut on Tuesday, May 20 at 9/8c. following the first part of American Idol's two-night finale.


Fellow event series Wayward Pines is still set for a summer debut but the network has yet to announce a specific premiere date.
