Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect) has landed the female lead on the ABC comedy pilot An American Education. She will play Sarah McIntyre, a smart and earnest chemistry teacher who piques the interest of fellow teacher Alfie (Jack Whitehall).

Jessica Lucas (Melrose Place, Cult) is joining the cast of FOX's upcoming limited series Gracepoint. She will play Renee, a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle who followed Detective Carver (David Tennant) during the Rosemont murders and now spies another big story with his newest case in Gracepoint.

BBC America's Orphan Black has tapped Michelle Forbes (The Killing, Chicago Fire) for a recurring role in its second season. She will play Marian Bowles, a powerful new player at the Dyad Institute.

Condola Rashad (Stick Fly, The Road to Bountiful) has been cast on FOX's upcoming 13-episode drama Hieroglyph. She will play Nefertari, the Pharaoh's (Reece Ritchie) half-sister with a rare beauty that intimidates even the strongest of suitors... and she knows it.

John Simm (Doctor Who, Life on Mars) has landed the leading role on BBC America's upcoming new drama series The Intruders. He will play Jack Whelan, a Los Angeles cop-turned writer who has escaped a dark, violent past for a seemingly quiet life with his wife Amy - until she goes missing and he starts an investigation that forces him to confront the sins of his past.
