TV News - 'Star Wars' Vets to Appear on 'The Big Bang Theory'; Yvonne Strahovski Joins '24' Update; Plus 7 More Updates!

Chuck and Dexter alum Yvonne Strahovski has joined the cast of FOX's upcoming event series 24: Live Another Day. She will play Kate Morgan, a brilliant but impulsive CIA field operative in London.

Fellow Chuck vet Joshua Gomez will guest star on an upcoming episode of CBS' The Crazy Ones. He will play George, a copywriter at Lewis, Roberts + Roberts who gets the chance to work with Andrew (Hamish Linklater).

Star Wars vets James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher will appear as themselves on an upcoming episode of CBS' The Big Bang Theory. In the episode, they unexpectedly cross paths with Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

In more Big Bang Theory news, Lost alum Tania Raymonde has landed a potentially recurring role on the number one sitcom. She will play a new romantic prospect for Raj (Kunal Nayyar), a cute and somewhat surly veterinarian who ends up taking care of Raj's dog Cinnamon during this year's Valentine's Day episode.

Big Love star Bill Paxton is joining the cast of ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a four-episode arc starting in late February. He will play Agent John Garrett, an agent who would rather stay out in the field than sit behind a desk and deal with the formalities of S.H.I.E.L.D. He will work alongside agents Ward (Brett Dalton) and May (Ming-Na Wen) as well as help Coulson (Clark Gregg) solve some mysteries.

Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse, Last Resort) has been cast in a recurring role on The CW's upcoming drama series The 100. She will play Anya, a mysterious survivor that the group of troubled teens encounters when they are on the ground.
