- Girls creator/star Lena Dunham will make her SNL hosting debut on the March 8 episode alongside musical guest The National, also making their first appearance on the late night sketch series.

- Alexia Fast (Jack Reacher) has booked a regular role on the upcoming drama series starring John Benjamin Hickey. She will play Callie Winter, the 16-year-old somewhat sharp-tongued daughter of Frank (Hickey), who she needles about his frequent, secretive absences from home for his work.

- The family drama is still airing its first season but preparations are already being made for its upcoming second season - set to start in the summer. Trophy Wife star Bailee Madison has been cast in a recurring role on the new season and will debut in the season premiere. She will play a young woman who is connected to Callie's (Maia Mitchell) past.

- Matt Lauria (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) has been cast in a leading role on the upcoming drama series. He will play Ryan, the charming, intelligent, good-looking and world-class athlete who had it all until a spiraling addiction landed him in prison. But when he shows up at Alvey's (Frank Grillo) gym, he's a changed man.
