ABC's Damaged Goods; CBS' Red Zone, Untitled CSI Spinoff & Untitled Kevin Williamson; FOX's Here's Your Damn Family, Red Band Society & Sober Companion; and NBC's Two to Go.
FOX's RED BAND SOCIETY
- Charlie Rowe, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Zoe Levin have been cast on the drama pilot starring Octavia Spencer. Rowe will play Leo, the leader of sorts of the group of teens in the hospital who has osteosarcoma. Rittenhouse will play Brittany, a new nurse on the pediatric ward. Levin will play Kara, a beautiful and smart but mean teen, a head cheerleader who finds herself in the hospital after she passes out during a practice.
CBS' UNTITLED KEVIN WILLIAMSON PROJECT
- Liz Friedlander (The Following, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle) is set to direct the psychological thriller written and executive produced by The Following creator Kevin Williamson.
NBC's TWO TO GO
- Christine Woods (Hello Ladies, Go On) has landed the female lead on the single camera comedy pilot. She will play Laura, who's grappling with the challenges of modern-day dating alongside her best friend Kurt.
- Craig Zisk (New Girl, Parks and Recreation) will direct the single camera comedy pilot written by Kevin Chelsey and Bryan Shukoff. This marks his second pilot for this season - having recently wrapped production on ABC's comedy pilot An American Education.
CBS' RED ZONE
- James Foley (House of Cards) has signed on to direct the drama pilot (formerly Untitled Nikki Toscano Project) from writer Nikki Toscano.
ABC's DAMAGED GOODS
- Declan Lowney (Alan Partidge) is teaming with Lauren Iungerich to direct her ABC comedy pilot about the "post-feminism sexual politics."
FOX's SOBER COMPANION
- In more directing hires, Don Scardino (30 Rock) will direct this multi-camera comedy pilot from writers David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman.
FOX's HERE'S YOUR DAMN FAMILY
- Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) is returning to FOX to star opposite Jane Kaczmarek and David James Elliott on this multi-camera comedy pilot. He will play Richard, Carol's (Kaczmarek) 30-year-old son still living with her who is described as a rare combination of intense intelligence and sloth-like underachiever.
CBS' UNTITLED CSI SPINOFF
- Pilot Ordered - Drama (Backdoor Pilot)
- A decade after CBS launched the most recent CSI spinoff, the network is once again going to that well - this time with a planted spinoff which will air as an episode of the long-running procedural this spring. The new spinoff will by written by CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker, CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn and former CSI: Miami showrunner Ann Donahue. Inspired by the work of Irish Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken, the spinoff centers on Avery Ryan, Special Agent in Charge at the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI in Quantico, Virginia, who is tasked to solve major crimes that start in the mind, live online and play out into the real world. Zuiker, Mendelsohn and Donehue will executive produce with Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. Aiken will serve as a producer. CBS Television Studios and Bruckheimer Television will produce.
