Hallmark's 'The Good Witch' Movie Franchise to Become Drama Series Starring Catherine Bell

Today, Hallmark announced the pickup of the drama series The Good Witch, starring Catherine Bell based on Bell's character Cassie Nightingale, the raven-haired enchantress who has toplined six movie installments for the cable network. The seventh film in the franchise, The Good Witch's Wonder will premiere on October 25.




The new drama series will consist of 10 episodes and will begin production in Canada later this year for an early 2015 debut.

Executive producers for The Good Witch include Orly Adelson, Jonathan Eskenas, Frank Siracusa and Craig Pryce. Catherine Bell is a co-executive producer. The drama is a Whizbang Films Production with ITV Studios America control distribution rights.
