CBS Renews 'NCIS,' 'The Good Wife,' 'Elementary,' 'The Millers,' 'Mom,' 'Person of Interest,' '2 Broke Girls' & 12 More!

On the heels of picking up The Big Bang Theory for three more seasons yesterday, CBS today picked up another 18 shows to air during the 2014-15. The list includes 9 dramas, 5 comedies, 2 reality series and 2 newsmagazines.





"The best way to launch new shows in the fall and throughout the season is to surround them with a strong and stable lineup of successful series," said Nina Tassler, Chairman of CBS Entertainment. "The shows we're picking up today cut across every night of the week and feature genre leaders, time-period winners and the most-watched shows on broadcast television.

The nine dramas picked up are NCIS (for season 12), NCIS: Los Angeles (for season 6), Person of Interest (for season 4), CSI (for season 15), Hawaii Five-0 (for season 5), Blue Bloods (for season 5), Criminal Minds (for season 10), Elementary (for season 3) and The Good Wife (for season 6).

The renewed comedies are 2 Broke Girls (for season 4), The Millers (for season 2), Mike & Molly (for season 5), Mom (for season 2) and Two and a Half Men (for season 12).

The network has also picked up new cycles of Undercover Boss, The Amazing Race, 60 Minutes and 48 Hours.


The series that remain on the bubble are The Mentalist, Intelligence, Hostages and The Crazy Ones. Additionally, Friends with Better Lives and Bad Teacher are expected to premiere within the next month.
