Development News - CBS' Wall Street Pilot Casts Maggie Grace & Sophie Okonedo; John Cho Joins 'Selfie'; Plus 11 More Updates!

ABC's Damaged Goods, Saint Francis & Selfie; CBS' The Odd Couple & Untitled Elmore/Cavell; The CW's Jane the Virgin; HBO's Untitled Winter/Scorsese; NBC's The Mysteries of Laura, One Big Happy & The Pro; Showtime's Billions; TBS' Your Family or Mine; and TNT's Proof.




ABC's DAMAGED GOODS
  • Jennifer Aspen (GCB) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Anna Camp. She will play Alexis, Nicole's (Camp) older and outspoken sister. Married with two and a half kids ("one is really small"), Alexis instructs Nicole to choose her dreams over a guy who is threatened by her - especially a guy like Tim (Justin Hartley), whom Alexis has never liked.
CBS' UNTITLED TAYLOR ELMORE & BEN CAVELL PROJECT
  • Lost alum Maggie Grace has been tapped as the female lead on the drama pilot starring Charlie Cox. She will play Jaime, a newly hired in-house legal counsel at the hedge fund who is smart, ambitious, savvy and has a conscience.
  • Oscar nominee Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda) and David Morse (Treme) have also joined the cast of the pilot. Okonedo will play Bryce, a woman deeply committed to her work who serves as an assistant attorney general charged with heading a task force investigating Wall Street. Morse will play Conklin, a hedge fund genius who is worth billions and is always planning his next move to consolidate his power and wealth.
HBO's UNTITLED TERENCE WINTER & MARTIN SCORSESE PROJECT
  • Juno Temple (Maleficent) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Bobby Cannavale and Olivia Wilde. She will play Jamie Vine, an ambitious assistant in the A&R department at the label, American Century Records. She uses her keen abilities to manipulate people and blend into the various subcultures of the New York music underground, in order to break through the glass ceiling and get ahead.
THE CW's JANE THE VIRGIN
  • Yael Grobglas (Reign), Brett Dier (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and Andrea Navedo (One Life to Live) have been added to the cast of the drama pilot starring Gina Rodriguez. Grobglas will play Monica, who is left reeling when her husband's sperm is used to inseminate the wrong girl. Dier will play Michael, a cop and Jane's (Rodriguez) steadfast boyfriend who has secrets of his own. Navedo will play Xiomara, Jane's mother, who is fiercely devoted to her daughter.
  • Justin Baldoni (My Last Days) has also booked a regular role on the drama pilot today. He will play Rafael, a former playboy whose life is at a crossroad. When he finds out his sperm has been mistakenly used on the wrong woman, he is forced to reexamine everything.
TNT's PROOF
  • Annie Thurman (The Hunger Games) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Jennifer Beals. She will play Sophie, the teenage daughter of dying internet mogul Ivan Turing.
NBC's THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA
  • Janina Gavankar (True Blood) will co-star opposite Debra Messing on the drama pilot. She will play Meredith, a tightly wound and perfectly coiffed detective who sees herself as far more sophisticated than her fellow detective and rival Laura Diamond (Messing) and it annoys her to no end that Laura is the precinct's golden child.
NBC's ONE BIG HAPPY
  • Brandon Smith (Grey's Anatomy, Work Mom) has joined the cast of the multi-camera comedy pilot starring Elisha Cuthbert and Nick Zano. He will play Marcus, Luke's (Zano) friend and a star bowler who supplements his meager income by working at a local bowling alley. He is impressed by Prudence and suggests that Luke "lock it down."
NBC's THE PRO
  • Jared Gilman (Moonrise Kingdom) is set to play the young son of Rebecca Romijn's character on the single camera comedy pilot starring Rob Lowe and Rob Riggle.
ABC's SAINT FRANCIS
  • Jeremy Luke (Mob City) has been cast on the multi-camera comedy pilot starring Michael Imperioli. He will play Tommy, Francis' (Imperioli) easy-going younger brother who's very protective of his sister (Spencer Grammer).
ABC's SELFIE
  • Sleepy Hollow vet John Cho is set as the male lead opposite Karen Gillan on the single camera comedy pilot. He will play Henry, a self-assured marketing expert who decides to "re-market" his co-worker Eliza (Gillan), a social media star with a bad reputation.
TBS' YOUR FAMILY OR MINE
  • Kyle Howard (My Boys) and Kat Foster ('Til Death) will topline the multi-camera comedy pilot from writer Greg Malins. They will play married couple Oliver (Howard) and Kelli (Foster. Oliver is geeky attractive, prone to panic and a gadget freak. Kelli is cute with a quick wit.
  • Also joined the pilot today is Danny Comden. He will play Jason, the middle son in the family who is a cardiologist and married to Claire.
SHOWTIME's BILLIONS
  • Pilot Ordered - Drama
  • Written on spec by journalist/author Andrew Ross Sorkin and feature writing dup Brian Koppelman and David Levien, Billions is set in the world of fiance, politics and power focusing on the collision and, at times, collusion between an aggressive U.S. attorney in New York and some of the richest hedge fund billionaires in the country. Sorkin, Koppleman and Levien will executive produce.
CBS' THE ODD COUPLE
  • Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!, Sean Saves the Wold) has been cast as the co-lead opposite Matthew Perry on the multi-camera comedy pilot. He will play Felix Unger, a neat freak. The Odd Couple reunites Perry and Lennon, who co-starred together in the feature 17 Again.
