CBS' HOW I MET YOUR DAD
- Meg Ryan (When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle) has been tapped as the narrator on the comedy pilot. In the same way that Bob Saget supplied the voice of future Ted (Josh Radnor) in How I Met Your Mother, Ryan will voice future Sally (Greta Gerwig) in the spinoff, telling her kids the story of how she met their dad.

- True Blood star Sam Trammell has landed the lead role on the drama pilot from writer Samuel Baum. He will play Richard Paxson, the man who after years of torment from his brother and father, left the family business and has been trying to work his way up at a marketing firm to no avail. He has an amazing immediate family that he has worked to keep separate from his extended one for years -- until he is forced back into the family gun manufacturing business.
