THE CW's ARROW
  • A day after the second season finale, the drama has promoted John Barrowman to series regular status for the third season. He plays Malcolm Merlyn - the big bad from Season 1 who was later revealed to be alive and Thea's (Willa Holland) biological father during Season 2.
THE CW's THE FLASH
  • As was revealed in the first look trailer released earlier today, Arrow star Stephen Amell will make an appearance in the pilot of the upcoming spinoff series.
FXX's LEGIT
  • The cable network has opted to cancel the Jim Jefferies-starring comedy series after two seasons. It aired its one hour season finale last night (May 14). Dan Bakkedahl and DJ Qualls also starred on the series - which was one of the few series to move from FX to FXX.
FX's CHOZEN
  • Just like Legit, FX has decided to cancel the animated comedy led by the voice of Bobby Moynihan. It aired its final episode on Monday, March 31. The voice cast also included Hannibal Buress, Kathryn Hahn, Paul Iacono, Method Man, Danny McBride, Michael Peña, Nick Swardson and Gary Anthony Williams.
NETFLIX's MARCO POLO
  • Joan Chen (Twin Peaks) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series. She will play Chabi, the empress of the Yuan Dynasty.
NETFLIX's ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
  • Adrienne C. Moore has been promoted to series regular on the upcoming third season of the prison dramedy. She has recurred throughout the first two seasons as Black Cindy, a brash and bold inmate who's not afraid to tell it like it is.
LIFETIME's DEVIOUS MAIDS
  • Switched at Birth star Gilles Marini will guest star on the second season finale of the hit drama series. He will interact with Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), but all over details on his character are being kept under wraps.
WGN AMERICA's MANHATTAN
  • The period drama will debut its first season on Sunday, July 27 at 10/9c. From writer Sam Shaw and director Thomas Schlamme, Manhattan is set against the backdrop of the clandestine mission to build the world's first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico and follows the brilliant but flawed scientists and their families. The cast includes John Benjamin Hickey, Olivia Williams, Daniel Stern, Ashely Zukerman, Katia Herbers, Christopher Denham, Harry Lloyd, Michael Chernus and Eddie Shin.
