Starz Renews 'Da Vinci's Demons' for Season 3

Starz has renewed its drama series Da Vinci's Demons for a 10-episode third season, it was announced today by Chris Albrecht, Chief Executive Officer, Starz. Production on new episodes will begin later this year for a 2015 debut. Additionally, John Shiban will take over for David S. Goyer as showrunner for the new season. Goyer will continue to serve as executive producer.




Da Vinci's Demons follows 25-year-old brilliant and passionate Leonardo da Vinci as an artist, inventor, swordsman, lover, dreamer and idealist. As a free thinker, with intellect and talents that are almost superhuman, he struggles to live within the confines of his own reality and time.

The drama stars Tom Riley, Laura Haddock, Elliot Cowan, Lara Pulver and Blake Ritson.
