Casting News - 'Revenge' Ups James Tupper to Regular; 'Royal Pains' Adds 'Greek' & 'Shameless' Vets; Plus 1 More Update!

ABC's Revenge; TNT's Perception; and USA's Royal Pains.

  • Thom Barry (Cold Case) has joined the upcoming third season in a recurring role. He will play Special Agent in Charge William Parsons, the skeptical and no-nonsense special agent in command of the Chicago FBI office and Kate's (Rachel Leigh Cook) boss.
  • Michael O'Keefe (Michael Clayton), Nick Gehlfuss (Shameless), Spencer Grammer (Greek), Tyler Labine (Deadbeat), Leonardo Nam (Betas) and Brandon Quinn (Entourage) have booked guest spots on the drama's upcoming season. Gehlfuss will play Lance, a gifted local musician with a possible family disease. Grammer will play an aspiring NASCAR driver distracted from an important race by her father's (O'Keefe) health issues). Quinn will play Randy, a cheeky local firefighter. Labine will play Franklin, a talented chef opening a new restaurant. Nam will play a young-at-heart house sitter known for his hard-partying lifestyle.
  • After recurring on the drama for its first three season, James Tupper has been upped to series regular for the soap's upcoming fourth season. He plays David Clarke, the presumed dead father to Emily (Emily VanCamp) who was the sole inspiration for her taking revenge on the Grayson family. He was revealed to still be alive in the third season finale - after previously just appearing in flashbacks.
