Casting News - Kyra Sedgwick to Appear on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'; J.R. Ramirez Joins 'Arrow' as Wildcat; Plus 11 More Updates!

ABC's Once Upon a Time & Revenge; Cinemax's The Knick; The CW's Arrow; FOX's Brooklyn Nine-Nine; FXX's The League; NBC's The Blacklist; Netflix's Grace and Frankie; Syfy's 12 Monkeys & Ascension; USA's Rush & Sirens; and VH1's Hit the Floor.



ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
  • Tyler Jacob Moore (Shameless) and John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings) have booked two Frozen roles on the drama's upcoming fourth season. Moore will play Prince Hans, a well-bred prince with a serious chip on his shoulder who burns to be king. Rhys-Davies will provide the voice for "grandpa" rock troll Pabbie.
ABC's REVENGE
  • Elena Satine (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Magic City) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Louise, the black sheep daughter of a wealthy Southern family.
FOX's BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
  • The Closer star Kyra Sedgwick is returning to television with a guest-starring arc on the comedy's second season. She will appear in at least two episodes as Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch, a longtime foil to Captain Holt (Andre Braugher). As part of a precinct-wide evaluation, Wuncth aims to take down the 9-9.
THE CW's ARROW
  • J.R. Ramirez (Emily Owens M.D., Power) has landed a major recurring role on the upcoming third season of the drama. He will play Ted Grant aka Wildcat, an ex-boxer who runs a gym for underprivileged youth in Starling City.
NETFLIX's GRACE AND FRANKIE
  • Brooklyn Decker (Friends with Better Lives) and Ethan Embry (Once Upon a Time) have been cast in regular roles on the comedy starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Decker will play Mallory, the younger daughter of Grace (Fonda). Embry will play Coyote, the son of Frankie (Tomlin).
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
  • Mozhan Marno (House of Cards) has joined the drama in a series regular role for its second season. She will play Tamar Katzman, a former Mossad agent and incredibly intuitive spy who goes head-to-head with Red (James Spader).
VH1's HIT THE FLOOR
  • VH1 has renewed the dance drama for a 10-episode third season to air in 2015.
CINEMAX's THE KNICK
  • Tom Lipinski (Suits) has been promoted to series regular for the already announced second season of the period drama. He plays Phillip Showalter, a charming and aristocratic young man whose father is a millionaire rubber king.
SYFY's ASCENSION
  • Wendy Crewson (Revenge) is set as recurring on the upcoming event series starring Brian Van Holt and Tricia Helfer. She will play Martha Warren, Harris Enzmann's (Gil Bellows) boss, an elegant woman with a polished exterior but a formidable adversary.
USA's RUSH
  • Tiffany Hines (Bones, Devious Maids) will recur on the drama's first season. She will play Steffi, an expert at drumming up drama and chaos in any situation.
USA's SIRENS
  • Bill Nunn has been upped to series regular on the comedy's second season - after appearing in many episodes of the first season. He plays fellow EMT Cash.
FXX's THE LEAGUE
  • The hit comedy series will return for its 13-episode sixth season on Wednesday, September 3 at 10/9c.
SYFY's 12 MONKEYS
  • Emily Hampshire (Rookie Blue) and Tom Noonan (Hell on Wheels) will recur on the new drama's first season. Hampshire will play Jennifer Goines, a dangerous, unstable mental patient who might have the key to unraveling the mystery of the 12 Monkeys locked away in her head. Noonan will play a mysterious villain who is the imposing and intelligent face of the enigmatic Army of the 12 Monkeys.
