AMC's WHITE CITY
- Oscar winner Stephen Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana) will direct the pilot for the geopolitical drama from writers Nick McDonnell and John Dempsey.
AMC's WE HATE PAUL REVERE
- Olafur Darri Olafsson (Banshee, True Detective) has been cast on the comedy pilot created by and starring Ethan Sandler and Adrian Wenner. He will play a character named Ethan Allen.
COMEDY CENTRAL's @DADBONER
- Comedy Central has given a pilot order to @DadBoner, an animated comedy project based on the popular Twitter feed of the same name and the book it spawned, Power Moves: Livin' The American Dream, USA Style. The pilot will be written by Mike Burns and Tim Long. The duo will also executive produce with Kara Baker, Jon Thoday, Richard Allen-Turner and David Martin. Dan Lubetkin is a co-executive producer. ShadowMachine is the animation company. The project centers on Karl Welzein, a middle-aged Michigan man who is separated from his wife, who has developed his own philosophy of life, indulging in dangerously generous helpings of booze, fast food and American pride. Since his wife kicked him out of the house, Karl has been crashing at his buddy Dave's and living like a "true bad boy" with "plenty of babes" - in his own mind.
