NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
- Writer on the late night sketch comedy Michael Che will serve as co-anchor of Weekend Update on the upcoming 40th season opposite Colin Jost. He effectively replaces Cecily Strong who debuted behind the desk a year ago and will now likely appear in more of the various sketches.
ABC's GALAVANT
- Ricky Gervais (Derek, The Office) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the midseason comedy. He will play Xanaz, a medieval wizard well-known for having the best potions in the land and excels at guiding his clients through alchemy-induced trips down memory lane.
CBS' SCORPION
- Linda Hunt will appear as her NCIS: Los Angeles character Hetty Lang in an October episode of the new drama. The team will enlist her help when a lead on a case tracking down a priceless painting takes them to a Halloween party and they need her expertise to go undercover and infiltrate the event.
- Emmy winner Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Saddam) will also appear on an upcoming episode. She will play Dr. Cassandra Davis, a psychologist assigned to evaluate Walter (Elyes Gabel) and the team following a chaotic and costly conclusion to one of their cases.
NETFLIX's ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
- Marsha Stephanie Blake has landed a recurring on the third season of the prison dramedy. Details on her role are sparse but it was revealed that she'll be playing a new corrections officer.
LIFETIME's THE RED TENT
- The four-hour miniseries starring Minnie Driver, Morena Baccarin and Debra Winger will premiere on Sunday, December 7 and Monday, December 8 at 9/8c.
AMC's TURN
- The Mentalist alum Owain Yeoman has joined the drama as a new series regular for its second season. He will play historical figure Benedict Arnold, an American Continental Army general who later defected to the British side.
USA's WHITE COLLAR
- The drama will return for its 6-episode sixth and final season on Thursday, November 6 at 9/8c. leading into the return of Covert Affairs' fifth season.
FOX's RED BAND SOCIETY
- Singer-actress Mandy Moore (Grey's Anatomy) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama series. She will play Dr. Erin Grace, Chief of Staff at Ocean Park Hospital and Dr. McAndrew's (Dave Annable) ex-fiancé.
