ABC's Once Upon a Time & Scandal; BBC America's The Last Kingdom; CBS' Elementary; The CW's Arrow; FOX's Backstrom; and NBC's Law & Order: SVU.




CBS' ELEMENTARY
  • Mamie Gummer (The Good Wife, Emily Owens M.D.) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. She will play Margaret Bray, a New York heiress who runs her family's charitable foundation and finds herself as an aide to Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan's (Lucy Liu) investigation - which will also put her in danger.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
  • Peter Gallagher (The O.C., Covert Affairs) has booked a recurring role on the veteran procedural's 16th season. He will play Deputy Chief Wiliam Dodds, the charismatic boss who oversees all of the special victims units in New York City.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
  • Frances O'Connor (Mr. Selfridge, The Missing) has been cast as Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) mother on the drama's upcoming fourth season. She will appear in flashbacks in the season's sixth episode, with the option to return in the future.
THE CW's ARROW
  • Austin Butler (The Carrie Diaries, Switched at Birth) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Chase, a charismatic DJ whose talent and wiles catch the attention of Thea (Willa Holland). Their professional relationship will quickly blossom into a romance.
FOX's BACKSTROM
  • Ben Hollingsworth (Cult) has been cast in a recurring role on the midseason drama starring Rainn Wilson. He will play DA Steven Kines, who meets with Backstrom (Wilson) regarding a material witness who's gone missing.
ABC's SCANDAL
  • Mary Mouser (Body of Proof) has been tapped to replace Madeline Carroll in the role of First Daughter Karen Grant on the drama's upcoming fourth season. The casting change was made for creative and scheduling reasons. Carroll played the role in two Season 3 episodes. Mouser will make her debut in an October episode.
BBC AMERICA's THE LAST KINGDOM
  • Alexander Dreymon (American Horror Story: Coven) has been cast in the lead role on the upcoming historical drama. He will play Uhtred, whose Saxon parents are killed by the Vikings who then kidnap him and raise him as one of their own. Forced to choose between the country of his birth and the people of his upbringing, his loyalties are continually tested.
