Casting News - Lily Rabe Books 'American Horror Story' Return; Judy Reyes to Recur on 'Jane the Virgin'; Plus 5 More Updates!

CBS' NCIS: New Orleans; The CW's Jane the Virgin; FOX's Red Band Society; FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show; Showtime's House of Lies; TNT's Major Crimes; and WE tv's The Divide.




FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW
  • Lily Rabe - who appeared in the first three seasons of the anthology series - will appear on the Freak Show installment but as her character from AHS: Asylum, Sister Mary Eunice. Appearing in the tenth episode of the season, Sister Mary's return will help explain how Pepper (Naomi Grossman) went from the freak show to Briarcliff.
SHOWTIME's HOUSE OF LIES
  • Fred Melamed (The Good Wife, Benched) has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Harvey Oberholt, Clyde's (Ben Schwartz) estranged father who arrives on his son's doorstep with a dying wish that Clyde must consider whether he can fulfill.
CBS' NCIS: NEW ORLEANS
  • Diane Neal - who has appeared in multiple episodes of the original NCIS - will guest as CGIS Agent Abigail Borin in an upcoming episode of the new spin-off. She will appear in the twelfth episode of the season.
THE CW's JANE THE VIRGIN
  • Judy Reyes (Devious Maids, Scrubs) has booked a multi-episode arc on the hit drama's first season. She will play Dina, the head writer of Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) telenovela The Passions of Santos.
FOX's RED BAND SOCIETY
  • Adrian Lester (Hustle, Girlfriends) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's first season. He will play Dr. Lawrence Naday, a disheveled, world-renowned international neurologist with unconventional methods who makes a big impression on the hospital staff but most notably Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer).
TNT's MAJOR CRIMES
  • Tuc Watkins (Desperate Housewives) will appear in the final two episodes of the drama's third season. He will play a judge who is acting as Special Master helping Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke) review his legal files.
WE TV's THE DIVIDE
  • The cable network has canceled its first original scripted series after one low-rated first season. Created by Richard LaGravenese and Tony Goldwyn, the drama starred Marin Ireland, Paul Schneider, Damon Gupton, Nia Long and Clarke Peters.
