Casting News - Premiere Dates Set for 'Better Call Saul,' 'Mozart in the Jungle,' 'Hindsight' & 'Portlandia'; Plus 8 More Updates!

ABC's Forever & Revenge; Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle; AMC's Better Call Saul; BBC America's Orphan Black; FOX's Weird Loners; HBO's Silicon Valley; IFC's Portlandia; NBC's Parks and Recreation & Saturday Night Live; Syfy's Childhood's End; and VH1's Hindsight.



FOX's WEIRD LONERS
  • Katie Aselton (The League) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the midseason comedy. She will play April, a beautiful and fun-loving bisexual woman who finds herself caught in a romantic tug of war between Stosh (Zachary Knighton) and Caryn (Becki Newton).
HBO's SILICON VALLEY
  • Chris Diamantopoulos (Episodes, About a Boy) has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. He will play Russ Hanneman, a successful businessman who takes interest in Pied Piper.
SYFY's CHILDHOOD'S END
  • Ashley Zukerman (Manhattan) and Osy Ikhile (The Heart of the Sea) will play lead roles on the upcoming miniseries. Zukerman will play Jake Greggson, an American production designer with artistic sensibilities whose children begin to exhibit psychic powers. Ikhile will play Milo.
ABC's FOREVER
  • Billy Baldwin (Hawaii Five-0, Parenthood) will appear in an early January episode of the hit procedural. He will play Oliver Clausten, a Wall Street CEO who has grown accustomed to getting things his way. When his protégé is murdered, it opens up the dangerously cutthroat world of this business.
IFC's PORTLANDIA
  • The 10-episode fifth season of the hit comedy will premiere on Thursday, January 8 at 10/9c. Guest stars this season include Vanessa Bayer, Steve Buscemi, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, Matt Groening, Anna Gunn, Jane Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, Kyle MacLachlan, Seth Meyers, Kumail Nanjiani, Parker Posey, Paul Reubens, Paul Simon, Olivia Wilde and Oscar the Grouch.
NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
  • James Franco will return for the third time as host on December 6 episode of the late night sketch series, with musical guest Nicki Minaj. Martin Freeman will make his hosting debut on December 13, with musical guest Charli XCX. Lastly, Amy Adams will return for her second time as host on December 20, with musical guest One Direction.
BBC AMERICA's ORPHAN BLACK
  • Shameless star Justin Chatwin will appear on the upcoming third season of the hit drama. No further details were released about his character.
VH1's HINDSIGHT
  • The first season of the 1990s-set drama starring Laura Ramsey will premiere on Wednesday, January 7 at 10/9c.
NBC's PARKS AND RECREATION
  • Mad Men star Jon Hamm will reprise his role as Ed on the seventh and final season of the hit comedy. He previously made a surprise cameo appearance in the sixth season finale when the show jumped three years into the future as an extremely incompetent employee who Leslie (Amy Poehler) has just fired.
  • Additionally, Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will reprise their roles as Ann and Chris for at least one episode of the upcoming season.
AMAZON's MOZART IN THE JUNGLE
  • The online streaming service will debut all 10 episodes of the dramedy's first season on Tuesday, December 23. The cast includes Lola Kirke, Gael Garcia Bernal, Saffron Burrows, Hannah Dunne and Peter Vack, with guest stars Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, Debra Monk, Wallace Shawn, Mackenzie Leigh, Nora Arnezeder, Jerry Adler, John Hodgman and Santino Fontana.
AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL
  • The 10-episode first season of the Breaking Bad prequel series featuring Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks reprising their roles will premiere as two-night event starting on Sunday, February 8 at 10/9c. (following the midseason debut of The Walking Dead) and then moving to its regular time slot on Monday, February 9 at 10/9c. The cast also includes Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando and Patrick Fabian.
ABC's REVENGE
  • Sebastian Pigott (Pacific Rim) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. He will play Lyman Ellis, Louise's (Elena Satine) brother, a driven politician.
