- Parenthood star Sam Jaeger has been tapped for the male lead role on the drama pilot from writer Chris Black. He will play Michael Hartman, the stepfather to Charlie - whose obsession thrusts the entire family into the world of Lumen - and challenged with trying to keep his family together as they confront the amazing but dangerous reality of Lumen.
