Casting News - Kirsten Dunst & Jesse Plemons to Star in 'Fargo' Season 2; Mark Moses Joins 'The Last Ship'; Plus 4 More Updates!

ABC's Fresh Off the Boat; The CW's Arrow; FX's American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson & Fargo; IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang!; and TNT's The Last Ship.




FX's AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE V. O.J. SIMPSON
  • Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire) will play football star turned murder defendant O.J. Simpson and Emmy nominee Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) will play prosecutor Marcia Clark in the first installment of Ryan Murphy's upcoming anthology miniseries.
TNT's THE LAST SHIP
  • Mark Moses, Brian F. O'Byrne and Nick Court have been cast in major recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Moses will play a high-ranking U.S. government official trying to protect citizens from the plague. O'Byrne and Court will play Sean and Ned Ramsey, a pair of British brothers whose plans impact the mission of the USS Nathan James.
IFC's COMEDY BANG! BANG!
  • The hit comedy series will have a quick turn-around with the expanded fourth season set to premiere on Friday, January 9 at 11/10c.
ABC's FRESH OFF THE BOAT
  • The 1990s-set family comedy will be sampled twice in the network's Wednesday night comedy block on Wednesday, February 4 at both 8:30/7:30c. and 9:30/8:30c., followed by its time slot premiere on Tuesday, February 10 at 8/7c. The cast includes Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler and Ian Chen, with Eddie Huang as the narrator.
FX's FARGO
  • Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man) and Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights) will star on the second season of the anthology drama. Dunst will play Peggy Blomquist, a small town beautician with big city dreams who is trying to figure out who she really is and what she really wants as she struggles with traditional societal expectations. Plemons will play her husband Ed, a butcher's assistant who wants to be supportive of his wife's self-discovery, even if he doesn't quite understand it.
THE CW's ARROW
  • Peter Stormare (The Blacklist) will reprise his role as the new Vertigo in an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. He debuted in the Season 3 premiere as Werner Zytle, a crime boss who took up the distribution of Vertigo after the death of Count Vertigo (Seth Gabel). Last we saw him, he was tied up for the police to deal with.
