ABC's Delores & Jermaine; CBS' Taxi-22; and NBC's Blindspot, Game of Silence & Unveiled.





NBC's BLINDSPOT
  • Jaimie Alexander (Thor) has signed on as the female lead on the drama pilot written by Martin Gero. She will play Jane Doe, a beautiful woman who finds herself at the center of an investigation after climbing out of a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square with her memory wiped and no clue as to what the extensive tattoos on her body mean. The FBI begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity.
ABC's DELORES & JERMAINE
  • The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has been cast as the co-lead on the comedy pilot written by and starring Jermaine Fowler. She will play Delores, Jermaine's (Fowler) estranged grandmother, a strict, football-loving, former D.C. cop who needs his youthful enthusiasm in her life as much as he needs her old-school parenting. Production on the prospective series will not interfere with her duties on The View. Additionally, she and her partner Tom Leonardis will serve as executive producers on the pilot.
CBS' TAXI-22
  • Lenny Venito (The Neighbors) and Sahr Ngaujah (Last Resort) have been cast on the comedy starring John Leguizamo. Venito will play Dean, Bobby's (Leguizamo) boss at the Yellow Cab Garage. Ngaujah will play Valentine, a Nigerian cab driver who shares a taxi and a love-hate relationship with Bobby. Also set for the pilot in guest starring/recurring roles are Jennifer Esposito, Rebecca Creskoff, F. Murray Abraham and Christopher Nicholas Smith.
NBC's UNVEILED
  • Stephan James (Selma, The Book of Negroes) is set for a leading role on the drama pilot written by John Sakmar and Kerry Lenhart. He will play Daniel Shepard, a rookie Guardian angel unfamiliar with human suffering, but striving to understand it. Overcome by a loving desire to help others, Daniel sometimes bends the rules for the greater good.
NBC's GAME OF SILENCE
  • Michael Raymond-James (Once Upon a Time) and Larenz Tate (Rush) will co-star opposite David Lyons on the drama pilot. Raymond-James will play Gil, one of the four childhood friends entangled in the conspiracy. Tate will play Tony, the peacemaker of the group who hangs out with Gil and helps him with his petty crime schemes.
