Casting News - Showtime Sets 'Ray Donovan' & 'Masters of Sex' Return Dates; Rex Linn Joins 'Nashville'; Plus 3 More Updates!

ABC's Nashville; Cinemax's The Knick; FOX's New Girl; FX's Fargo; and Showtime's Masters of Sex & Ray Donovan.





FX's FARGO
  • Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, Evil Dead) has been cast as Ronald Reagan on the the upcoming second season of the hit series. The character is on the campaign trail for President of the United and swings through Fargo and will interact with several of the main characters.
CINEMAX's THE KNICK
  • Colman Domingo (Selma) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Dr. Russell Daniels, a colleague of Algernon Edwards (Andre Holland).
FOX's NEW GIRL
  • Taran Killam, Henry Winkler and Julie Haggerty will appear on an upcoming episode of the comedy's fourth season. In the episode, Jess considers not breaking up with her new beau (Killam) just so that she can remain close to his super awesome parents (Winkler & Haggerty).
SHOWTIME's MASTERS OF SEX and RAY DONOVAN
  • The two dramas will both return for their third seasons on Sunday, July 12 - with Ray Donovan debuting at 9/8c. with new recurring guest stars Ian McShane and Katie Holmes, and Masters of Sex following at 10/9c. with a time jump to 1966.
ABC's NASHVILLE
  • CSI: Miami alum Rex Linn has landed a recurring role on the drama's current third season. He will play William "Bill" Lexington, Will's (Chris Carmack) father, a handsome, all-American guy who's a fourth-generation Texan. Bill is macho and believes that hard work and elbow grease is the only way to get ahead. He's a devoted and sincere family man - but also deeply conservative.
