IFC's THE SPOILS BEFORE DYING
  • Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire) has been tapped for the lead role on the comedy's upcoming second season - debuting later this year. He will play Rock Banyon, a down-and-out pianist who becomes the prime suspect when his lead singer and occasional lover is found violently murdered in a car with another man. With the death of two people hanging over his head, Rock has only 72 hours to clear his name or fry in the electric chair.
SUNDANCETV's HAP AND LEONARD
  • Michael Kenneth Williams (Boardwalk Empire) has also been cast as one of the two leads on the upcoming drama - debuting in early 2016. He will play Leonard Pine, a black, openly gay Vietnam vet with anger issues. Having been raised by an uncle who shunned him after he came out, Leonard was left with his best friend Hap in the not so progressive, rural South of the 1980s.

  • Spartacus alum Lucy Lawless is returning to Starz with a co-starring role on the upcoming series starring Bruce Campbell. She will play Ruby, a mysterious figure who is myopic in her quest to hunt down the source of the recent evil outbreaks - which she believes is Ash (Campbell).
TV LAND's THE SOUL MAN
  • The fourth season of the comedy starring Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash will debut on Wednesday, March 18 at 10:30/9:30c. with a special live episode following the midseason return of Hot in Cleveland.
