AMC's PREACHER
- Ruth Negga (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is set as the female lead on the drama pilot written by Sam Catlin. She will play Tulip, Jesse's ex-girlfriend, a volatile, action-packed, sexified force of nature, a capable, unrepentant criminal with a love of fashion and ability to construct helicopter-downing bazookas out of coffee cans and corn shine who's not afraid to steal, kill or corn cob-stab her way out of a bad situation.
CBS' FOR JUSTICE
- Mario Van Peebles and Leonardo Nam have been cast on the drama pilot starring Anika Noni Rose. Peebles will play Ben, Nat's (Rose) father, a long-time revolutionary, determined to overthrow the American government by subversion or political action who has been living an underground life for decades. Nam will play Leon, an FBI agent with the Civil Rights Unit and the best-dressed, best-groomed man in the Bureau who also happens to be highly skilled in mixed martial arts.
NBC's HEART MATTERS
- Joshua Leonard (Bates Motel, True Detective) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot starring Melissa George. He will play Max, Alex's (George) ex-husband.
CBS' RUSH HOUR
- Page Kennedy has joined the cast of the action comedy pilot - in 2nd position to his current gig on FOX's Backstrom. He will play Gerald, Carter's (Justin Hires) cousin who runs with a rough crowd and is in the know about a lot of stuff that is often helpful to a police investigation. He comes off as vicious and terrifying, but it's merely an act.
CBS' JOE TIME
- Rita Moreno (Happily Divorced) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Steven Weber. Also cast on the pilot today are Alli Kinzel and Noland Ammon. Moreno will play Judy, Joe's (Weber) mom who is madly in love with her husband and also preoccupied with physical fitness and her amazing personal trainer. Kinzel will play Lucy, Joe's eldest daughter who works with him in the family construction business. Ammon will play Andrew, Joe's youngest son who thinks it's cool to accompany his grandfather on the piano during his cabaret performance.
ABC's DELORES & JERMAINE
- Christina Moore (Last Man Standing) has booked a regular role on the comedy pilot starring Delores Folwer and Whoopi Goldberg. She will play Ebony, the new wife of Jermaine's (Fowler) mother, Marsha.
FOX's GRANDPA
- Ravi Patel (Super Fun Night) has been cast on the comedy pilot starring John Stamos. He will play Ken, Jimmy's (Stamos) good friend who is always up for a party but is never invited to one.
FOX's COOPER BARRETT'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING LIFE
- Charlie Saxton (Hung, Betas) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot written by Jay Lacopo. He will play Neal Kang, one of Cooper's (Jack Cutmore-Scott) roommates. Fresh out of college, he is excited about his new job working in an office, designing scalable software platforms, but terrified about the number of strangers he's going to have to interact with.
NBC's THE CURSE OF THE FUENTES WOMEN
- Robbie Jones (Hellcats, Bosch) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot written by Silvio Horta. H will play Jean-Baptiste, the line cook at Café Fuentes who's taken over for Esperanza (Rachel Ticotin). With business dwindling, he spends most of his time arguing with his boss, Lola (Christina Vidal), whom he's desperately in love with.
