NBC's THE BLACKLIST
- After recurring throughout the drama's first two seasons, Hisham Tawfiq has been promoted to series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. He plays Dembe Zuma, Red's (James Spader) bodyguard.
NBC's THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA
- Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy, Sons of Liberty) will appear on the May 13 episode of the drama's first season as himself. In the episode, Laura (Debra Messing) needs some "celebrity arm-candy" to to slip inside the Tribeca Film Festival to track down pivotal clues in her latest investigation - a role that Guttenberg is happy to fill.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
- Dann Florek is returning to the long-running procedural for one episode later this season. The episode will also feature the return of Andre Braugher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as attorney Bayard Ellis. In the May episode, Ellis represents a man who was imprisoned for raping his daughter - a case that former captain Donald Cragen (Florek) helps re-open.
