Casting News - Cush Jumbo Joins 'The Good Wife' for Season 7; Santino Fontana Boards 'Shades of Blue'; Plus 9 More Updates!

ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. & Grey's Anatomy; ABC Family's The Fosters; AMC's Into the Badlands; CBS's The Good Wife; NBC's Shades of Blue; TBS' Clipped; TNT's Major Crimes; USA's Graceland & Suits; and WGN America's Underground.



ABC FAMILY's THE FOSTERS
  • Katherine McNamara (The Maze Runner), Keean Johnson (Nashville) and Tom Williamson (The Goldbergs) have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. McNamara will play Kat, an attractive and strongly ambitious piano prodigy. Johnson will play Tom, a high-strung but extremely talented musical composer. Williamson will play AJ, a runaway who bonds with Callie (Maia Mitchelle) at the drop-in center.
TBS' CLIPPED
  • The upcoming comedy created by Max Mutchnick and David Kohan will premiere on Tuesday, June 16 at 10/9c. The cast includes Ashley Tisdale, Mike Castle, Matt Cook, Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Pinkston, Diona Reasonover and George Wendt.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
  • Giacomo Gianniotti (Reign, Selfie) has booked a potentially recurring role on the veteran drama's current eleventh season. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
NBC's SHADES OF BLUE
  • Santino Fontana (Frozen) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Jennifer Lopez. He will play Stuart Saperstein, a tough cop with a lion's heart who is fiercely loyal to both his crew and his mother, with whom he still lives. He's happy to be the first through the door on a bust, but his confidence on the street doesn't translate to matters of the opposite sex.
WGN AMERICA's UNDERGROUND
  • Amirah Vann (Tracers, Don't Worry Baby) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Christopher Meloni. She will play Ernestine, the head house slave who is an expert in navigating the upstairs/downstairs life on the plantation but will find her status challenged when those close to her run.
CBS' THE GOOD WIFE
  • Broadway star Cush Jumbo (The River, Josephine And I) has been tapped for a recurring role on the drama's upcoming seventh season - which the network hasn't officially ordered yet, but is expected to shortly. No details were immediately released on the character she will be playing.
USA's SUITS
  • Christina Cole (Chaos, Casino Royale) has been cast in a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. She will play Dr. Paula Agard, a Harvard-educated psychiatrist specializing in high-end corporate consulting. A perfect match for Harvey (Gabriel Macht), the two of them will play a game of cat and mouse throughout the season.
TNT's MAJOR CRIMES
  • Jessy Schram (Falling Skies) and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the drama's fourth season. Schram will play Courtney Henson, a smart, beautiful and complex woman reluctant to cooperate with the team when her much older husband goes missing. Schulze will play an attorney whose background in civil law makes him almost unqualified to represent a chef accused of murder for hire.
USA's GRACELAND
  • Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Rhys Coiro and Evan Jones will appear in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Gilliard will play Special Agent Sean Logan, a man whose only concern is to complete the task at hand by any means necessary. Coiro will play Ari Adamian, a handsome, unpredictable, potential heir to an Armenian crime family. Jones will play Colby Moore, a former FBI agent who Briggs' (Daniel Sunjata) pulls into his new mission reluctantly.
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Cobie Smulders confirmed during her appearance on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she will reprise her role as Maria Hill on an upcoming episode of the drama's second season.
AMC's INTO THE BADLANDS
  • Aramis Knight, Madeleine Mantock and Ally Ioannides have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Daniel Wu. Knight will play M.K., a young boy who embarks on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. Mantock will play Veil, a beguiling beauty and Sunny's (Wu) lover. Ioannides will play Tilda, who is trained to kill and who befriends M.K.
